Phillip Terrazas
Phillip has a long history as a sales consultant in the medical industry. During his successful sales career, he noticed that doctors and patients were often misled by generalized statements and inaccurate or exaggerated product claims. Determined to provide safe, high-quality alternatives, Phillip researched the world's most reputable medical technologies, distributing his research and findings to medical professionals throughout the west coast. He is dedicated to educating both consumers and medical professionals in holistic health and functional medicine.
Phillip helped found Cynergy LLC when he noticed a disconnect between skin care, science and nutrition. He strives to treat skincare using a whole-body, natural approach. Phillip graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Business Communication Studies.
César A Maúrtua, MD
Dr. Maúrtua travels the world as a respected educator and lecturer in functional medicine. He is also a certified anti-aging physician from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). As a passionate educator, César focuses on helping patients and medical professionals make optimal treatment decisions based on current medical knowledge and clinical experience.
Dr. Maúrtua co-founded Cynergy® to help others understand how to maximize skin treatment results by using an integrative whole-body approach. His premise is that the skin is a reflection of our internal state of health.
Dr. Maúrtua received his Bachelor of Arts degree in bacteriology from UC Davis. Soon after, he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco. After training in internal medicine, he became Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has been practicing for over 30 years. His current practice includes integrative medicine with a special interest in endocrinology, immunology, nutrition and skin disorders.
