eDermaStamp - micro-needle derma pen with reservoir for transdermal delivery of approved drugs during micro-needling scar treatmentLos Angeles, CA - Once again, Dermaroller ® has created a product that leaps ahead of the competition. Now, with eDermaStamp®, Certified Dermaroller Providers are able to mechanically treat patients’ stretch marks and acne scars more precisely and consistently, thanks to the patented technology behind the device. Isolated scars, in particular, can be more easily treated with the eDermaStamp®.

The patented EDS Driver Reservoir™ makes this device unique. With this reservoir, Dermaroller’s patented CIT Solution® (comprised of hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins, and peptides) can be applied in a steady flowing stream during treatment. This continuous delivery method guarantees the skin receives the right amount of solution with each treatment. The medical provider simply injects the CIT Solution ® into the reservoir before starting each procedure. The eDernaStamp ® reservoir can be used for trans-dermal delivery of other topical solutions as well.

"The patented driver reservoir serves as a trans-dermal delivery method of approved drugs such as the Dermaroller CIT Solution®," says Phillip Terrazas, Director of Sales and Marketing for Cynergy, official U.S. distributor of The Original Dermaroller ®. "eDermaStamp ® is the only product on the market today with a driver reservoir system. That’s important for patients to remember when seeking providers who offer Collagen Induction Therapy, or CIT."

Manufactured in Germany with state-of-the-art design and quality, eDermaStamp® is compact, with low in noise and vibration. Six fine-precision, medical-grade, stainless steel micro-needles cause minimal tissue trauma due to low levels of skin penetration. New collagen is easily formed through eDermaStamp’s gentle stimulation of skin cells. Repeated treatments improve epidermis thickness and transparency, filling in scars and reducing wrinkles and fine lines for a more youthful look.

eDermaStamp® places Dermaroller ® medical devices into an entirely different category compared to other micro-needle devices in the marketplace. It is the only CE-approved medical device on the market today, and is already proving its superiority in treating stretch marks and isolated acne scars. The Dermaroller CIT Solution® is approved and registered in the EU as a Class III Approved Drug.

New York, NY – In recent years, micro-needling roller devices have been appearing everywhere, although many consumers are still unaware of the risks they take by using rollers manufactured in less-than-ideal conditions. Those who heed the following four “rules” when purchasing roller devices will not only protect their health, but will also notice a dramatic increase in the effectiveness of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) for their skin.

1. Become an informed consumer.

Study the manufacturer of the product(s) you’re buying, as well as the materials they use. Dermaroller® the German-based company that developed the micro-needling technique more than a decade ago – makes two different versions of its micro-needling roller device: Home and Medical. Both versions use surgical-quality needles and are assembled with expert medical engineering.

Through their website, superior design, and manufacturing methods, and professional in-office training, Dermaroller ® makes sure each customer is both informed and protected.

2. Know who’s performing your treatment.

Only trained, medical professionals (M.D., D.O., N.D.) are allowed to handle the Medical Dermaroller ®. A licensed R.N. or P.A. (physician assistant) may also perform CIT if under the direct supervision of a licensed physician. (Some states do allow R.N.’s and P.A.’s to perform CIT without medical supervision. For a list of state regulatory agencies’ websites, see Who is Qualified to Perform Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)?

This device is not sold directly to the general public. That’s because CIT is a medical/surgical procedure requiring special training so that medical professionals can handle complications should they arise. In addition, each patient must be adequately assessed before CIT in order to determine whether their skin condition is suffering due to possible health issues.

3. Know where your product comes from.

Dermaroller ® founder Horst Liebl, after years of patiently developing an instrument that would safely, effectively, and painlessly deliver substances deep into the skin, was vindicated by two clinical studies in 2000. These studies confirmed that micro-needles do indeed induce large amounts of new collagen, elastin fibers, and capillaries in human skin. That same year, Dermaroller ® was patented in Germany and trademarked in the European Union (EU) and the United States. The German micro-needling roller is also authorized to be sold in Australia, where it has been approved as a Class II Medical Device.

Espri Skin & Body is a Certified Dermaroller Provider serving the Denver, CO, areaEvergreen, CO - Espri Skin & Body, a locally-owned results-oriented medical day spa boutique, has been recently trained by Dermaroller®. Staff discovered that by combining Dermaroller’s medical micro-needling roller with a customized approach to beauty, they have been able to help patients achieve superior results, often surpassing any results previously seen by those patients. Acne scarring, stretch marks, and irregularities in skin pigmentation are just a few of the conditions successfully treated with the Medical Dermaroller.

Espri’s medical director, Dr. Shauna Wright, D.O., and the team of medical aestheticians and massage therapists specialize in results-oriented, natural methods of skin care, skin rejuvenation, stress relief, and body work massage. As a medically-supervised facility, Espri is selective with the products used on clients so, when it came time to add micro-needling to the list of services, Dermaroller was the obvious choice. The fact that Dermaroller has such a long track record in Europe (over 1 million procedures with no side effects), and the fact that the rollers are considered surgical devices (guaranteed to be sterile) were big selling points.

Espri also liked the fact that the Medical Dermaroller comes in a variety of sizes and types, making it easier to customize skincare treatments for clients - not to mention the hands-on training that ensures practitioners are using the devices correctly.

“Anyone seeking a safe, natural, and effective treatment to correct aging, acne scarring, and stretch mark concerns – and who would ideally like their own body to stimulate collagen production naturally – is the perfect candidate for Dermaroller treatments,” says Dr. Wright. “Collagen Induction Therapy [CIT] using this micro-needling technique is painless. Plus, there’s no comparison between the natural beauty achieved through CIT and the artificial looks created with fillers and toxins used by many plastic surgeons and medical spas.”

Espri Skin & Body is one of the few facilities in the entire Denver metro area, and the only one in Evergreen, offering Dermaroller’s natural method of skin rejuvenation. “We’re excited to offer the Medical Dermaroller ® to our clients,” adds Dr. Wright, “since most people want to look radiant, and feel and look naturally younger without side effects.”
